As a proud B Corp organization, every move we make is fueled by our commitment to doing good—for our people, our communities, and the planet. Over the past year, we’ve taken tangible steps to reduce our footprint, support diversity, and give back to causes that matter. Here’s a look at the impact we made in FY2024.
We believe in the power of creativity to drive change, which is why we regularly donate our creative services to organizations that share our vision for a better world. This year, we proudly partnered with organizations like the Asian Impact Society and the Port Moody Foundation, contributing 210 hours of creative time to help these groups amplify their impact. Whether it’s designing campaigns or crafting new websites that amplify the work these organizations do, we’re honoured to support causes that matter.
In addition to donated time, we also make direct financial contributions to non-profit organizations. This year, we donated 14% of our total profits to a variety of causes, further extending our commitment to giving back.
We acknowledge that we live and work uninvited on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), Syilx tmixw (Okanagan), Nłeʔkepmx Tmíxw (Nlaka'pamux), Niitsítpiis-stahkoii (Blackfoot / Niitsítapi), Mi’kma’ki, the Mississaugas of the Credit, Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples. We are grateful for the opportunity to build our agency and communities here and are committed to giving back to the Nations who care for this land.
This year, we supported two organizations that are making a real difference. We donated $75 to Water First, an organization focused on addressing critical water challenges in Indigenous communities across Canada, and $200 to the Orange Shirt Society, which works to raise awareness about the legacy of residential schools and to support survivors. This is just the beginning of our long-term commitment to supporting Indigenous communities and creating lasting positive change.
Sustainability is central to how we operate. This year, we were proud to partner with the Carbon Neutral Club to offset the carbon impact of our entire team, ensuring our operations contribute to a healthier planet. Additionally, we joined forces with Clean Creatives, pledging not to work with fossil fuel polluters. These partnerships reflect our deep commitment to protecting the environment and ensuring that our work supports a more sustainable future for everyone.
At Redstamp, we believe in giving back—and sometimes, that looks a little unconventional. One of our favourite initiatives this year was our taco charity drive. Over the course of the year, our team redeemed 13,200 tacos (Check out HeyTaco) through our employee recognition program, raising $660 for charities and causes that reflect our team members’ passions and values.
On top of that, we’re also committed to supporting local businesses. This year, over 50% of our purchases came from local and independent suppliers. By choosing to work with these businesses, we’re helping strengthen the communities we live and work in.
We’re proud to report that 67% of our team identifies as part of a minority or underrepresented group. In addition, 40% of our managers do not identify as male and 64% of our team members did not identify as male. For us, this diversity is more than just a number—it’s a vital part of what makes Redstamp so creative, agile, and innovative. We believe that different perspectives help us think bigger and push boundaries, and we’re committed to maintaining and expanding our inclusive culture.
This year, every one of our part-time and full-time team members earned more than the living wage in Metro Vancouver, which was $25.68 per hour in 2023. We believe that paying people fairly isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s essential to building a sustainable and motivated workforce.
At Redstamp, we prioritize the well-being of our team in every way possible. In addition to the 96 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) mandated by the government, we go further by offering 5 additional personal health days, ensuring our employees have the flexibility they need to take care of themselves, both physically and mentally.
On top of that, our team enjoys four to five weeks of vacation time, which is significantly higher than the government-mandated two to three weeks, giving them the space to fully unwind and recharge. We’re also committed to professional development, offering both training hours and financial support for employees to grow in their careers. And with our Telus Health partnership, we ensure everyone on our team can access comprehensive wellness services beyond their workday needs.
